Tenders
A procedure we often use is the tenderprocess: it's a way to sell real estate in a structured and transparent manner. It comprises a sales process in which the price is determined by the market. This sales method is particularly interesting in case the demand for real estate exceeds the supply. Jones Lang LaSalle originated the professionalisation of this sales method and in recent years has developed various tender methodologies, such as public versus private tenders, tenders with one or more bid rounds and tenders for real estate shares. Depending on the nature of the real estate object, we decide which variant is best suited. And this is our tender department’s greatest strength: continuous innovation to achieve optimum sales results for our clients.
One thing is essential: a tender procedure is always transparent. It involves an open and objective price discovery process. We allow the market to determine the price. All parties invited are treated in exactly the same way, using a clearly defined procedure that provides everyone involved with the same information. This enables us to achieve the highest possible outcome with a minimum of transaction risks.
Every year, our tender team sells real estate portfolios containing thousands of leased houses, shops and single objects.
